Editorial Review
Before your children can turn their imaginations loose and build elaborate structures with LEGO, they must first acquire the basic stacking skills necessary to form their creations. A wonderful introduction to the world of LEGO, this PRIMO gift set is a fun way for little ones to develop their hand-eye coordination while learning the basics of LEGO construction. Designed specifically for small hands, the 38 extra-large pieces in this multicolored set can be easily combined and stacked to create a variety of basic structures, such as a simple tower or a blockhouse. In addition to a variety of different building blocks, the set also includes two human figures, a car with moving wheels, a large cradle, and a bumblebee rattle. The set is large enough to be used on its own, or you can combine it with other LEGO PRIMO sets (sold separately) for additional building possibilities. --Chris Burns

You really can't build much. Simple wooden blocks (non-interlocking) are better for building towers for knocking down. The duplo blocks are much more interesting! 4 of 5 people found the following review helpful: Simple Fun, By A Customer = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Lego 1192 Primo Block Gift Set - Stack 'n Learn (Toy) Although they're Lego pieces, Primo's are so simple that there aren't many stacking combinations. Our daughter has the most fun with the little rattling creature. Otherwise, I stack and she knocks down little colored towers of blocks. Great toy, By Karla (Fond du Lac, WI United States) - See all my reviews = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Lego 1192 Primo Block Gift Set - Stack 'n Learn (Toy) My 17-month-old loves these legos and has for months! Unlike the legos geared toward children 18 months - 5 years, he is able to stack, build and create with no help from mom or dad. They are the perfect size for his little hands and strong enough to withstand lots of tossing and banging. |
