I had my reservations. It's not that it's a bad set, but at retail price, you're paying a lot for a set that has little versatility. Of course, since she has no concept of money, my daughter doesn't seem to mind. The tractor is essentially a one-piece affair with seating for one Duplo character and a loader that can be clipped on or removed and has three stationary positions when attached. The trailer clips onto the tractor or any other Duplo vehicle, and has a green bed for carting blocks or whatnot (which can be removed to allow room for stacking standard Duplo pieces). Included also are a farmer (adult male), a dalmation, and a pitchfork which can be placed into the farmer's hand. Then there are four 2x2 dot blocks in two shades of yellow. The tractor is currently being used by a two-year-old to scoop sand in a sand & water table. It has no problem with either the sand or the water. A quick rinse and dry cleans it up nicely.
